Commercial Description:
Loosely based on Vienna style, Wisconsin Amber is a rich, malty lager balanced out with mild hop bittering and enticing hop flavor. Very fulfilling. Very drinkable.

Pours a see-through dark red amber color. Small white head. Very little aroma. Flavor was the beers strong point, a well-balanced beer, just a little thin. Overall a little dissapointing...

Amber in color with a nice head. Aroma of sweet malt with light flowery hops. Clean and sweet in flavor and it finishes very smooth. Goes down really easy.

Bottle. Amber body with a thin loose off white head. Malty, and sour. This is my second Capital Brewery beer, the first being the 1900. I found that one to have a sour taste on the back end too. Hmmm....Tastes of apple/pear, light homey, malt, caramel, and acidity come out. Overall. not bad, but a little sour. Good mouthfeel.

Thanks to slikwily for this fine extra. Nice amber body with significant carbonation and an off-white head. Aroma of sweet toasted malts, spices, nuts, herbs, and a hint of fruit. Nicely balanced malt, spice, fruity acidity, and a touch of bitterness. Palate is very even and smooth. This would make an excellent session brew. My 2nd favorite Vienna to date.

Clear amber body with a fluffy white head. Grains and nuts in the nose with an underlying caramel and fruit sweetness. A little bit of grassy hops as well. The body is of average heft with a nice creaminess. The flavor shows a more pronouced bitterness with grains and nuts just behind. There is a bit of caramel sweetness, but it only pops in and out at random points. The finish is of moderate length, but with a nice crisp bitterness. A nice session beer from Capital.

Looks good, huge cream colored head. Beer is amber. Fruit aroma is ruined by alcohol. Some malt in the flavor with a a little hops. Being a Vienna, I wasn’t expecting much, and this beer didn’t offer anything.
