Slightly hoppy aroma with caramel, bread and a hint of apple. Light medium watery body with a moderate amount of carbonation. Very smooth and refreshing. A light flavor of caramel, apple, spice, and a hint of roast. Decent, but not memorbale. DCopperfields (144), Alabama, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 25, 2003 Copper brew, white head. Not outstanding, but good as one would expect.
Smells of malt, a little like toasted sourdough.
Taste is smooth, medium mouthfeel. A little on the roasty side, and a perfect session brew. Cheers to Capital as my first brew this Christmas day, 2003. Syd (903), Waconia, Minnesota, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 21, 2003 Bottle pours a (you guessed it) amber color with decent head and some lace. The aroma is malty and mildly hoppy. The flavor was a nice clean lager flavor with a touch of dopplebock sour in the finish. Overall, I liked it real well, as I consumed six of them at my cousin's graduation party this afternoon at the University of Wisconsin's Memorial Union. Good session beer. heemer77 (4311), Savannah, Missouri, USA

Obvious malts in the nose with a clean, somewhat one dimensional, malty kinda hoppy kinda caramely flavour. Overall quite delightfull and fun. BATLMULLET (127), Highland, Indiana, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 13, 2003 Very middle of the road overall, but above average mouthfeel. An over-session beer. They used to sell this beer in CANS...how cool is that? hotstuff (3176), Indiana, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 12, 2003 Even though my opinion of this beer is that it could use some character to it, it was indeed a good beer to drink and rate. It poured a small sized ivory creamy and smooth head. The body was carbonated and clear with an amber hue. The nose was malty, fruity and some caramel notes. The flavor was sweet along with a bitter taste. The mouthfeel was smooth, tingly, thin textured, watery and light bodied. It left a good lacing on the sides of my glass.
