Commercial Description:
Loosely based on Vienna style, Wisconsin Amber is a rich, malty lager balanced out with mild hop bittering and enticing hop flavor. Very fulfilling. Very drinkable.

12oz bottle. Dark opaque amber with large head that sticks around for awhile. Caramel, bread & spice & everything nice in the aroma. Caramel malted and a little thin tasting with a mild astringent finish. A little thin in the flavor department too, I wanted to like this more.

Pours an amber color with a white head. Aroma is malty, grainy, a hint of green apple, and some peppery hops. Flavor is malt, grain, and a peppery hop finish. Kind of thin for a vienna.

Appearance is pretty good when first poured, the head is nice and thick and it has a little lacing on it. The amber is a little too clear, but ok. The head later disappates. Smell is malty with a hint of hoppines. I even smell some dark fruit tones. Taste is sour, pretty bad. I even dug in the back of the cooler at HyVee W and S in CF for one that I thought was good. Mouthfeel is pretty watery.

Poured a light amber color with small head. A pretty good beer with a nice hop bite at the end. I drank a 6 pac and was fairly satisfied. The best capital beer I’ve had.

Pours a golden orange with a few fingers of white head. Hoppy odor. Soft taste of malts start off, and roll to the side of the tongue with a hint of a bitter hop aftertaste. It’s drinkable, and not bad, but it seems a bit too watery for me.

Don’t see anything spectacular about it. But not really my style of beer. Nothing wrong with it, just not for me.
