Nov 6, 2007 Pours a golden orange with a few fingers of white head. Hoppy odor. Soft taste of malts start off, and roll to the side of the tongue with a hint of a bitter hop aftertaste. It’s drinkable, and not bad, but it seems a bit too watery for me.

Oct 12, 2007 Bottle. Decent looking beer. Amber shade of golden yellow. Retains head well. Taste of carmel, banana, grain, maple. For some reason I am tasting similar characteristics of New Glauras’s stone soup. Some bitterness which seemed to linger. I’m not overly excited but not bad.

Sep 10, 2007 Tasted on tap. This amber pours a medium brown color. Small sized beige foamy head. Aroma is caramel and sweet, touch of bread. A medium bodied amber. The malts are caramel and sweet. The hops are slightly floral. There is a touch of sourness to this amber that sets it slightly apart from the typical brewpub amber. A very drinkable amber, hate to say this but its NOT boring, almost. Mouthfeel is full. Finish in clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Aug 27, 2007 Poured a beautiful sparkling amber color, not much head to it. Flavor was slightly bitter, could definitely taste the hops. Spicy. I’d drink it again.

Aug 15, 2007 Orangish amber with a thin white head that dissipates quickly. Malt and a hint of honey sweetness make up the light aroma. Medium palate. Nice mix of flavors starting with malt and some caramel and finishing with nutty hops. The hops give it just a touch of a bitter aftertaste. Pretty good beer.

Aug 14, 2007 A rather more mature and complex amber brew than I’m accustomed to encountering. The nose of caramelized sugars mingling with flowers. The palate is caramel malts frolicing with honeysuckle, with an undercurrent of cashews. A nice, drinkable brew.
