| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 19, 2007 Draft at Baltimore Harbor. Deep copper pour, with aroma of heavy hops plus solid caramel malt. The flavor provides a nice balance of malt and hops, and this one finishes extremely smooth and crisp, pretty much ensuring a refill. jrob21 (1271), Atlanta, Georgia, USA

Sweet, grainy earthy caramel aroma has some faint hoppiness. Body starts with a touch of sweet toast malt, quickly fading into a more bitter, earthy, and dry finish. Needs more lingering malty sweetness.
