Sampled on tap on 7/15/06 at the downtown location: Pours a transparent copper orange with well-lacing, thin, off-white head. Sweet, grainy earthy caramel aroma has some faint hoppiness. Body starts with a touch of sweet toast malt, quickly fading into a more bitter, earthy, and dry finish. Needs more lingering malty sweetness.

Capitol Hill location. Great beer. Loved the floral, hoppy aroma, and the great hop taste. And boy did it certainly have a strong hop taste. Thought it was the best of the sampler, so I got myself a whole pint later.

On tap at the brewpub.

Yet another borning amber ale. Decent hop aroma, a bit of hop bite and some cracker in the flavor, but basically, this one is uninspiring.

Sampled at the brewfest in Adamstown. Pours copper with a white head. Aroma of caramel malts and citrus. The flavor is sweet upfront, citrus, and finishes slightly bitter. Good beer.
