| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 3, 2003 Copper colour with a thin off-white head. No visible bubles/carbonation. Aroma of blueberries, yeast, coriander seed, curacao and wheat. Medium-bodied; Sweet initial flavour with coriander seed most prevalent. Aftertaste shows some sweetness, but mostly yeastie/witbier qualities. Overall, an actually good representation of the style-lacking only the complexities of a true belgie, but definately respectable from the Americans! I was really lucky to try this one! My sisters fiance provided me with a growler straight from the brewery at the Shirlington (Arlington), Virginia location from which I sampled it on 28-November-2003.
