Commercial Description:
Modeled after the high alcohol ales brewed by Belgian Trappist monks, our trippel ale is pale in color with sharp hints of grape and citrus flavors.

This beer had little to no aroma, which is strange for a belgian trip. Very standard for a trip with really nothing intresting other the the standard citrus and spice flavors. next?

Very neutral Tripel. No particular taste stands out besides the fruity overtones. At 10% it’s a dangerous beer during happy hour when it’s $2.50 a pint.

Fruity smell of apples/pears. Good golden yellow color. Flavor ok and mouthfeel average.

An absolutely godawful attempt at a tripel. Is a light, clear, golden color. Had it sitting next to Cap City’s Helles Lager and I couldn’t tell the difference visually. Couldn’t much tell the difference in the nose either, as this has little to no aroma. Flavor on this is cloying and obnoxiously sugary sweet. Primary taste would have to be of cheap bubble gum and corn syrup. Get some hints of spiciness, but it’s not a particularly mature or well-crafted ale and everything sort of muddles together. The final blow is it actually made my teeth hurt from its sugariness. Without question the lousiest tripel I’ve ever run into.
