Commercial Description:
This Belgian style white ale is light and refreshing! Made from over 50% wheat malt this ale is spiced with orange and coriander. Our Belgian Wit is served unfiltered and has a cloudy appearance and a delicate finish. This one is perfect for those last days of summer and the first days of fall! Enjoy!

On tap @ Capitol City downtown. Cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma of wheat, spicy Belgian yeast and very mellow hops. Pretty good balance of sweet, sour and bitter flavors. Light to medium body with average carbonation and a crisp refreshing finish. Pretty standard Wit.

Brought a growler of this to a local DC gathering. Translucent, straw yellow with a whispy, cloudy head. Wait, is there something floating in my glass? Aroma is not the best, grassy, yeasty, cloves, bananas and... sweat? Flavor is very nice though, grassy and yeasty, spices, orange. Chalky finish. Nicely balanced and easy session beer.

On tap at Capitol City – Downtown
Appearance: hazed , murky golden-green , fine creamy top.
Nose: Wet cloth with citric side of character , more of Berliner Weisse aroma with its touch of funk. 5-
Flavor/Palate : Mild , silky softness on wheat blanket. Mild , bland but thirst quenching. Soft and on sweeter side.

DC Gathering, growler courtesy of Nimbleprop. Big spiced coriander aroma, a little overly intense. Odd lacy head. Smooth and creamy, with a lemony edge, which I’d guess was orangepeel. Too spiced for me, I wasnt really feeling this one.

(DC Local Gathering, "growler," thanks nimbleprop) Hazy light gold, creamy white head. Orange zest and coriander aromas warm to hints of sourdough bread. Wheaty citrus and spice balance one another quite well onward to the finish. Light to medium bodied, soft carbonation, light fruity-spiced finish. Well executed...

Growler shared by nimbleprop: Pours a hazy pale golden with an interesting wispy white head with buoyant little white beads of foam that almost seem to behave like styrofoam. Aroma of light musty sweat and pale wheat. Starts with good light sweetness and pale Belgian wheat with a smooth mild bitterness and clean finish. A very drinkable and true to style beer.

Poured a cloudy white-yellow color with a nice thin head on top, that sustained itself well and provided excellent lacing. The aroma was wheaty and floral. The flavor was much of the same with some citrus and orange peels coming through. The spicing was light as was the overall flavor, but it was good. Very refreshing and drinkable, I enjoyed this one after sweating through the town sight seeing with the family that day.
