Commercial Description:
The principal style of ale enjoyed in Britain, our version is copper colored, medium to light in body with a pleasant hop character in the finish. Named after the American Civil War battle, this is one 'bitter' experience' you will enjoy.

"Poured a pretty copper color average head which laced well. Aroma was a little weak not much to pick up slight hops. Flavor was grassy hops which finished with the biter taste. Mouthfeel was thin to light. Okay"

CAPITOL HILL: Handsome, crystal clear amber ale with a large, creamy, white head. Thick, creamy lacing. The flavor and aroma are both pretty nondescript. Very light butterscotch notes in the aroma and flavor. Well-balanced, but way too thin and watery. Medium carbonation. Crisp, lightly bitter finish.

Bitter, but nothing special. Just an average beer, except that it costs a shitload in DC. No real aroma or head, but a faint bitter taste.

A forgettable, uneventful bitter. It’s bitter, yes, of course. Didn’t detect much aroma.
