May 9, 2004 Pretty much an average beer. Very pale straw (clear) with a hearty white head. Yeasty nose. Body was thin, and the beer didn’t finish as tart/fruity as I would have liked.

Apr 28, 2004 Had this at the Manayunk event. Pours gold, with medium head. Some malt and hops in the aroma. Decent body and finish. An above average Kolsch.

Apr 20, 2004 On tap at the brewpub. I was surprised by the GIANT bubbles upon being served. Doesn't this mean too much force carbonation? The head disappears rapidly. No aroma. Very delightful tart flavor. Crispy treat! This one won a GABF gold in 2002.

Jan 28, 2004 Very pale, good flag logo. Rich, malt bready aroma. Clean drinking. medium hops with just a pinch of citrus. Medium-light body, medium finish with a lingering citrus aftertaste. Well done.

Dec 8, 2003 CAPITOL HILL:
Sparkling clear, very light yellow beer. Large, creamy, white head with excellent, thick lacework.
Both the aroma and flavor are fairly nondescript. Extremely light, thin and watery. Well-balanced, but then so is seltzer water. Lively carbonation. Crisp, clean finish.
