Commercial Description:
This lager like ale is modeled after the official beer of Köln, Germany. Kolsch is delicate and refreshing with a slight fruitiness and supportive, yet unobtrusive hop bitterness

Draught in Baltimore location: This one poured a clear, straw yellow color. It had a small white head that left some lacing. The aroma was lighter. It had floral notes and a touch of malt to the nose. The taste was a bit lighter. There was some malt taste, as well as some grassy hops. It was fairly refreshing, if not anything else.

Pale blond color; creamy head. It has delicate hoppy aroma, but light; the mouthfeel is quite dry, the body is light, but there is a pleasant crispy malt and a good bitterness level. Good and refreshing.

Blond color. Simple aroma and flavor, but at least the flavor is crispy. If just they used more hops…

Tap @ Capitol Hill Location. Pours a clear golden color with a slight white head. Very effervescent. Aroma is slight citrus with bready and biscuit notes detectable. Taste is slight citrus with floral and grassy hop notes detectable as the beer is going down. Finish is crisp and clean, though again this beer is nothing special.

Clear, watered-down piss color. Furiously bubbly. Aroma of citrus rind, with flatbread dust and biscuit crumbs. Salty with a twang of vinegar. Taste is dry, and tepid. Grassy, slightly tart and lemony with a lot of that crackery sand hanging around. Palate is spritzy and light with a cleansing finish that carries a bit of saltwater bite. Fantastically refreshing and reasonably interesting. A lively, well-made example.

Shockoe festival Richmond VA-Draft: Cabbage and carrot aroma. Yellow color, crystal clear, thin head. Little initial taste leaving veggie and grain on the palate. Not great but was refreshing in the Richmond heat.
