Very smooth with a light grassy and floral hoppy presence that was super well balanced with the malty base. Very drinkable. DJMonarch (6878), Northwich, Cheshire, England

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 26, 2005 Capitol Hill brewpub. Clear, pale straw body with mild carbonation and a pure snowy white head. Aroma is of nutty, pils malt and fresh wheat with grassy notes. Lightly sweet wheat and biscuit flavor with some crisp, drying bitterness. Hops are evident. Clean, decent, and easy-drinking. Good brewpub kolsch in that it does have some character and has no off qualities.

| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Oct 10, 2005 Light amber color, and light aromas. Some lemon and cereal grains -- but not much else on the nose. The body of the beer is similarly light -- it is also harsh and overcarbonated. Tastes are unfinished and muddled barley, plain hops and club soda. Not this brewer’s best.
