Capitol City Cream Ale

Pint at the downtown location. About 10% opaque, yellow body with a half-inch thick soda pop bubble head. At first glance it looks not different than the kolsch which is beside me, but if you stare long enough you may notice the faintest bit of cloudiness. Nose is rather unexciting and plain, I don’t pick up really any cream aromas, rather it’s a mix of some sweet cracked cereal grains, a faint hint of corn, and some very faint doughy and grassy hops. Flavorwise it’s pallid, strikes the tongue with heavy carbonation and a light, empty body, with a small, barely noticeable amount of "cream" flavor, in addition to the sweet corn and grain flavor. Very pallid, very plain.
