Dark brown. Brown creamy head. Excellent lace. Aroma of deep roasted grains. Some grassy hops. Flavor is all roast. Thin bodied, Full flavored. Huge roast. Nice sweetness well balanced to a sharp bitterness.

Oct 29, 2009 Dark, with a thin head. Very light body. Sharp, burnt flavor. Finishes with a burnt malt flavor.

Oct 14, 2009 Draft @ Brewpub: Poured a dark brown with a tan head. The aroma was roasted malts and coffee. The flavor was the same with dark chocolate added. Overall, another tasty beer from them.

Aug 13, 2009 Sample at the Downtown location. The beer is a dark brown color with a medium beige head that diminishes steadily. Patches of lacing on the glass. Roasty aroma with notes of coffee and malt. Medium body with flavors of roasted coffee, bittersweet chocolate and malt. The finish is malty up front with a coffee and hops aftertaste that lingers awhile. Decent overall.

Aug 10, 2009 On tap at the brewery....I’m not a Porter lover and I found this one to be very bitter and coffee tasting......I couldn’t finish it....not too good for my taste.

Appearance: dark brown with slight ruby light noted.mid plus creamy top shown.
Nose: Aroma of roasted barley, black malt , dark gourmet coffee. Bit stout like.8-
Flavor/Palate : Roasty front with creamy body and slight citric , sour side. Light bitterness on sides and finishing end. Fine.

Aug 9, 2009 Pint on tap at the brewpub. Well typical ice cream parlor flavored stuff. Trying to make too many flavors and never profecting any of them. Aroma light ginger and citrus. Dark black ad tan head. A semi-unpleasent metal taste. Not bad but not great either.

Aug 5, 2009 on tap at inner harbor, milky looking brown color, big, soapy coffee colored head, tons of chocolate in the nose, lots of coffee, grass and toast as well. flavor of coffee and chocolate with hints of vanila, very creamy, velvety mouthfeel, lots of body for a porter. a very enjoyable beer, easily one of their best regular offerings.
