Tastes a little bitter at first more of a bitter bite than I’m used to with a Belgian beer but then the Liptons Iced Tea comes back. Its really not bad, quite interesting. I admit I had never heard of manuka before I got this beer! Clear amber colour, huge off-white head with an orangey hue. Moderate aroma of malts and spice, and something undefined which I suppose is the manuka leaves. The flavour has moderate malts and some caramel and undefined spice, with a noticeable bitterness in the finish, which might or might not be caused by manuka leaves, in addition to the hops? Definitely drinkable, but not particularly exciting. Ober (1195), Bommelerwaard, Netherlands

The aroma of spices, fruits and malts. The taste of brown spiced biscuits, some quinine, there is bitterness. The after taste is dry bitter.
I don’t no the aroma and taste of Manuka, but iI think it’s there, because there are some unknown notes. BoBoChamp (1354), Gent, Belgium

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 4, 2008 Looks good, dark amber and clear. Has a fine, off-white head, mostly lasting. But I dont like the aroma, too perfumed, perhaps the "manuka" leaves. Rune (2812), Tromsø, Norway

Big creamy, off-white head slowly fading over a dark amber body. Hazy second pour. Fragile laceworks on the glass. Aroma of sweet honeyed malt. Flavour of spicy green tea, dried fruits and herbs. Touch of yeast to the ending. Medium bodied. A rather refreshing and health-giving summer drink (Tromsø, 23.07.2008). note666 (286), Eindhoven, Netherlands
