Nose is light caramel, some sugars with a bit of cherry, a modest of amount of acetic acid (maybe a bit balsamic) and just a touch of plum. Flavor is lightly sweet, moderately sour, but the acidity is fairly soft with a decent amount of lactic acid to go along with the acetic, some cherries and prunes, a bit watery especially at the end. Medium body with no carbonation. I really can’t believe this is 9%. Decent and certainly interesting. after4ever (2736), Brier, Washington, USA

Mild balsamicy lacto nose. Watery medium body. Lacto vinegar and not much else on the mid-palate. pantani (1898), Salinas, California, USA

Fragrant nose, oaky and tart fruits. Thick body despite the appearance. Strong vanilla blends with the oak. Sour cherry and very astringent finish. Not bad. wetherel (1594), Encinitas, California, USA

Sweet, cheesy aroma with a malty undertone of praline. Medium to full-bodied with soft carbonation that dances lightly on my palate. Very tart with fruity sweetness that attempts to provide balance, but falls short... to my sour-loving taste buds’ delight. Finishes tart, tangy and then dries out a bit. An excellent Flanders red. Growler provided by GodOfThunder!
