On tap at the brewery. Your average brown ale. Caramel, malt, nuts. Nothing jumped out at me.

On tap at the Ginger Man, NY. Pours clear brown with a small off-white head. Aroma was nuts and malts. The taste was good, started nutty and then sweet. Very good drinking beer, and I found it to be quite enjoyable.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear brown with a nice white head. Aroma of light, sour fruits. Flavor though was rather bitter and bleh. The flavors in this did not work well together. I didn’t really care for this.

On tap at the brewery. Aroma starts off very nutty, transforms to let some caramel through and just a touch of coffee right around the edges. Flavor very earthy in all these regards, not much sweetness I often expect in a brown ale, and I like it. Very solid brown, I’m surprised by the low rating it has right now.

Had this one on draft.Poured a dark brown,with a thin tan head.Aromas of caramel,nuts and malt.The taste also had some caramel as well as some toffee.The body was medium to light.Not bad,not surprised either.

this is a very good session, 5%, beer. Went to the brewery to get a growle rof Pale Ale or Captains Reserve, once I tasted his, that was what went into my growler. Good drinking beer

Poured clear brown with a small off white head. Light aroma of nuts. Nut, candy, and fruit flavor present. Nothing overwhelming.

(growler, thanks kmweaver) Small tan head atop clear dark brown body. Aroma is medium sweet, caramel, candi sugar, some raisin, light nut. Taste is medium sweet, raisin, caramel, some nut. Light-medium body, seems a bit thin for the flavors.
