| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Aug 26, 2009 One-third pint, gravity dispense at GBBF. 9% abv according to the Bières Sans Frontières program. Clear copper body. Fragile bubbles on the surface. Dried fruity hops to the nose. Taste of prunes, figs, nuts and honey sweetness on a backbone of hoppy dryness. Rather sharp bitter finish. | 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Aug 23, 2009 Draft, two different times at Ginger Man and Rattle N Hum. Pours gold with a white head. Odd herbal hoppy aroma, with some sweet malt. Flavor is similar to the aroma, it honestly tasted like a poor amber ale. I was reluctant to enter this rating after initially trying this at Ginger Man, even thinking that I was given the wrong beer, but after having the same experience at RnH I feel justified. Not good. mabel (2612), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Slightly hazy, amber orange body with a quick foamy white head. More pizza dough in the flavour iwth tons of hops and grainy malt. Medium body is a little bitter. Quite tasty, hides the alcohol well, very nice and bitter.

(3+) Fruity aroma, light tropical fruit, light leafy resin. (7+) Flavour is relatively mild, resiny hops, leafy, modest bitterness throughout. Average palate. Decent, the alcohol is quite restrained throughout and it it is very drinkable, but has less oomph than I expected. Growler, Shared at Derek’s by Grub

Well-balanced with a medium-full, somewhat bready palate. oh6gdx (8839), Vasa, Finland
