Great pour, head and look. lots of flavor with a strong finish that keeps you wanting more! (Until you find yourself the next morning on the floor wit an empty glass in your hand!) You will LOVE it! beerfest5 (200), Simsbury, Connecticut, USA

A really nice west coast version of an DIPA. taste is just what you’d expect, nice floral/citrus notes, not too "fat" of a taste and goes down unbelievably smooth. well done and i cant wait to take another sip. johnadam2002 (529), Hainesport, New Jersey, USA

Big party of hop flavors in your mouth with hints of citrus. One of best IIPA I’ve ever had. Delicious and smooth. setauketone (10), setauket, New York, USA
| 4.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 19/20 | Aug 12, 2009 I tried this beer at Stony Brook Beverage from theor Growler Bar. This is an amaxing Imperial IPA. It was smooth as could be. Clear golden-orange color with a whitish head. Piney hop aroma along with sweet malt. Flavor is hops, citrus, and sweet caramel malt. Well-balanced with a medium-full, somewhat bready palate. TheRealBastard (144), The-No, California, USA

I debate between this and hopslam as my favorite DIPA’s. Pours foggy amber color with beautiful quarter in white head. It’s piney and juicy. Has a nice hoppy and fresh taste to it. Great summer slammer. This go down very easy, highly recommended double IPA. Slightly underated IMO. fiulijn (7520), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy

Very nice hoppy aroma, with resins and fruits (delicate grapefruit). Good malty body, with an excellent aromatic and powerful hopping, with a lot of hop oils. Smooth and elegant. | 4.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | May 9, 2008 (On tap) Outstanding; a truly unique beer. Aroma strongly of grapefruit...fruity, complex, and genuinely grapefruit-like, with the bitterness, bite, and fresh and clean aroma. I’ve never had anything even remotely like this, and I absolutely love it. For having such a high alcohol content, this beer is surprisingly light and refreshing. Prior to drinking this beer, I haven’t tasted a single double IPA that I actually liked, since most of them are too heavy, taste too alcoholic, or have some sort of objectionable quality to the hops. This brew has no objectionable qualities whatsoever, and has a lot of complexity, in a unique sort of way. I became a huge fan of this beer with the first sip and am eager to drink it again.
