Commercial Description:
This is a beer that will make you rethink your definition of beer. It doesn’t taste like any beer you’ve ever had, yet it doesn’t taste like anything else either. Pushing the limits of brewing is what makes this job so much fun. Malted barley, wild yeast, hand picked Muscat Grapes, and French oak wine barrels are just a few of the things that went into crafting this beer. Breathe deep, take a long sip, and enjoy the creation in your hand.

Bottle shared by yobdoog. Batch 3. Pours a straw color with a fine white head. Has a acidic, grape, and brett in the smell. Has a sour grape taste with a bit of funk and wood to it. Very nice dry finish.

bottle from trade with vtafro- thanks victor! pours a creamsicle orange. fades from a white to creamy orange to a dark orange in the center. tiny white head that quickly fades. Nose detects passion fruit, orange peel, white grapes, lemon, wood, plastic, and some barnyard funk. Flavor is big juicy oranges and pashion fruit with some nice lemony tartness to complement it. fuckin Mellon sour cherry acetic acid. medium body, slightly dry finish (or is that the marijuana?) Pretty neat. a very unique beer on all dimensions. Amazing beer, but there is a rotten melon type flavor that i can’t get over. Otherwise, an awesome beer that I’m very happy to have tried.

Bottle courtesy of MaltOMeal. Banana hazy yellow. Armpit sour smell. Has some elements of sadness that bring it back to reality. Taste is sour to the max. Flavor evens out and turns nice however, it remains a little rough.

Bottled sample via and shared with oakbluff. Batch 2. Clear gold in colour with medium spritzy carbonation. Aromas are of funk, white grapes, sour apple, and spicy yeast. Tart white grapes are upfront in the mouth, along with pilsner malts, granny smith apple, christmas spices, and wooden barrel. Medium bodied, in spite of all of the sour. Not quite as dry or as barnyard like as a European sour, but very enjoyable nonetheless.

GABF 2009. Pours clear yellow with an average, frothy white head, mostly lasting with good lacing. Aroma is average malt (bread, cookie, cereal), light (grass), average yeast (earth) with notes of grape, green apple, and pear. Medium bodied, slick texture, lively carbonation, and a sour finish. Long duration, light sweetness, heavy acidity and sourness.
