| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Sep 3, 2009 What should have been my 1300 thanks to BMan1113VR. Batch 3 from July. Pours a cloudy translucent color that looks like unpasteurized apple cider. No real head to speak of. Nose: canned pineapple, apple cider, passion fruits, wildflower honey, violets, white pepper and a little bit of yarn (horseblanket maybe?) Taste is pretzels, unnamed citrus fruits, violets, a little bit of wild flavor, sweet and sour sauce (light), and a bit of oak. Mouthfeel is acidic, carbonated, not extremely lively but large bubbles caress your palate like a sparkling wine. very enjoyable. BMan1113VR (2931), Los Angeles (and Dallas), Texas, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 2, 2009 Batch 3 thanks to dchmela. Pours with a hazy golden body with a small white head that reverts to a ring quickly. Aroma is awesome and complex with honeysuckle, mango, peach, exotic fruits, tang, and passion fruit. Taste is tart, acidic with sour peaches and a slight spicy bitterness that I can’t explain (and I think will mellow with time). I get a bit of grape vinousness, tannins, florals and fresh apricot. Acidic mouthfeel with large and sharp bubbles. Would be amazingly awesome in another in another year or two! TampaBrew (866), Tampa, Florida, USA
