Sep 14, 2007 Draft at the Blind Tiger. The aroma is of bananas, sugar, and tropical fruit, and maybe some yeast. The flavor is similar; pretty light and tasty. Very sweet beer overall.

Sep 2, 2007 Exactly what the names evokes. Could be used as currency. A golden yellow color with a little fine head. Love coming to Captain. Sweet aroma of candy and sugar with some light wheat and malt. Taste is so smooth and delicious. A little on the wheat side of belgian but it was hot out so it was quite refreshing. Finish does not linger and just begs to be poured again.

Aug 17, 2007 On tap @ Hop Devil Grill 8/11/07. Pours clear gold with a thin bright white head. The nose is yeasty with a bit of spices. The taste is sweet and astringent with a bit of acid. Pretty good overall.

Aug 12, 2007 Draft. Cloudy gold in color. No head. Lemon, spicy, a little heavy. Coriander, chili-notes shine through the smooth, even body. Followed by bready, doughy finish. Sampled @ BCTC 2007

Jul 29, 2007 Hazy golden. Aroma is lightly spiced, grass, some bread. Well made and well balanced with good flavors, but nothing was really memorable.

Jun 29, 2007 Handbottled 12 oz bottle from mystery swap 2.0 (thanks ty5592!).Pours hazy gold with a tiny head. Nose is VERY spicy...coriander, pepper, ginger. Tastes like it smells and ends a little sweet. Lots of pepper in this one! Body is medium, carbonation is low. Too spicy for my taste.

Jun 25, 2007 Golden color with a light bready-citrus aroma. Taste is light, yet smooth and sweet - citrus, doughy malts, and a light but pleasant hop profile. way better than the "light offerings" of most brewers.
