Commercial Description:
Don't let the golden color fool you - this isn't your father's lite beer! Brewed with imported German malts and US-grown hops, this beer is a full-flavored introduction to craft-brewed beer. We add the hops late in the boil, allowing you to enjoy the flavor and aroma of the hops without an aggressive bitterness. Sensory Profile: Aromas of orange, spice, and green grass. Clean malt-dominated flavor, with a subdued bitterness playing in the background of the aromas of this beer. Food Pairing: A great match with fish and chicken, both sautéed and grilled, especially with citrus and herbs preparations. Shellfish steamed in Liquid Gold is a match made in beer heaven.

Growler courtesy of sebletitje. Pours deep gold with slight haze and bright white head. The aroma is cider like with layers of spice, yeast, honey and candi sugar. The taste is sweet with malt and candi sugar followed by apple and yeasty spice. It seems a bit bright but refreshing and ends with a sense of bubble gum and banana.

Draft at Rattle ’n Hum. Poured a clear light orange color with a white head. Attractive aroma of orange marmalade and mixed baking spices. Light to medium bodied and slightly sweet. Orange, baking spices, pastry, and clove flavors. Pleasant and easy to drink. Good stuff.

Thanks sebletitje for sharing the growler. Pours hazy amber-gold with a white head. Nose is honey, alcohol, yeast, banana, cotton candy, and alcohol. Flavor is yeast, pepper, banana, slight green pepper, and sugary citrus. Light to medium bodied, but not my favorite Belgian Ale.
