Bottle. Aroma of cheese, mold, mildew, raspberry, young cantaloupe or some such melon, more cheese. Flavor I thought at first had some sour cherry, though the more I drink, the more I wonder why I thought that. There’s a decent level of acidity and some lemon drops but also some less appealing mineral character. Enjoyable.

Bronze hazed appearance. Apple, pineapple, and cherry aroma; lightly gravelly, pretty quiet altogether.

Tastes almost jammy with too much of an alcohol and sugar weightiness to it. Blackberries, honey, some floral touches, but almost all sweet in flavor with very light sourness.

Its the weight of it that wrecks it; the flavors are good but there is too much sugar and alcohol, so even with the bright effervescence of its feel its just kind of heavy and hollow. Finishes with a leathery tea flavor/texture. Thanks Ty!

Sample #21 at 1st CST. Pours a grapefruit color, clear, with no head. Aroma of crab boil, pool water, old bay seasoning, salt water, sea water, huh??? Flavor is salty pool water, moldy nuts, disgusting all the way around... what the hell...

Bottle that I took to Paul’s place for Kan’s visit. Pours a hazy straw yellow with a thin white head. Little acetone and isopropyl, soft fruit, mustard grains, cheesy. Flavors are a bit subdued. Plastic, light acid. Finishes a bit sweet and with a little more acid and acetone.

Bottle... Poured golden with a white head. Spunky yeast and sour funk on the nose. Dry and light with souring flavors and apple-like fruits. Tangy, vinegar, and a little bit of noticeable malts and fruity, ester yeast. Couldn’t really taste the cherries in this, but that’s ok.

Murky grapefrut colored pour, with no head. Smells like pool water, chlorine, salty, rubbery... oh and a faint whiff of the cherries. Taste is similarly terrible. Starts salty, there is a touch of redemtion in the middle with a tart cherry flavor, though it’s brief. The finish is like stale peanuts.

Thanks to puzzl for sharing this one with me. Pale golden pour with a thin white head. The nose is amazing. Bright funky nose, light cherry skins and a touch of lemony tartness as well. Fairly lactic with a lot of fruity notes. The flavour is quite strange though. It’s got a weird cardboardy maltiness in the middle of the palate that is fairly distracting. The finish is quite astringent as well with a grainy huskiness that clashes with the lighter fruitiness. Much less tart than the nose would have suggested. It’s not bad, but it’s definitely got some weirdness going on in here.

Bottle: Pours a hazy orange blush color with a dense off white head. The aroma displays some almond paste, light acetic notes, acetone, and dry oak. It has an odd flavor- dry oak, very musty with old flavor, mainly cork with a crisp leathery brett presence. Within the old cork there’s a touch of cherry sweetness reminiscent of marzipan. A bit odd, but not bad.
