Bottle thanks to Cletus!
Fiery gold with a bubbly white head that’s gone quickly. Nose of oak, some acidic citrus, and faint cherry, also an earthy, minty herb. Alcohol with warmth. Way too watery and green/woody. Flavor has more oak and citrus with a stronger sweet cherry presence, the combo working together as a contrast to the nose. Overall it is rather bitter despite the fruit. Thin body, sticky mouth, finish in wood, earth, and slight cherry. Under-carbonated. Not bad, but undeveloped and rather simple, especially from CL.

Thanks so much Trev. Pour is pretty calm, barely any head but a beautiful thick, glowing orange/golden color, can’t really see through it. Aroma is light candy sweet with lots of acetic sourness covering it all up. Oak-y leafiness in there as well. Taste losses the oak and the overarching acetic quality is much less. The candy sweetness works well with the acetic qualities and makes for a cool and slightly different type of sour beer. But otherwise, its not too original as far as the new American sour beers go. And cherries, what cherries?

Courtesy dchmela. Pours a bright golden orange color with a small and foamy white that quickly dissipates. The aroma shows citric acidity, sour cherries, oak, and some bretty funk. Really nice aroma on this. The flavor follows suit with tart citrus and some sour cherries, but not prevalent like I would have thought. The bretty dries things out on the backend and adds that barnyard funk in there as well. Medium bodied, soft barbonation, and slightly tart on the finish. Not as sour as I was hopin, but still a tasty beer either way.

12.7 oz bottle from my Beer Celler! Nice pour with a pinkish full bodied head. Very dry. Nice carbination. A little young but has great potential for a sour. If you are lucky enough to have one on your shelf, I would wait till the holidays to enjoy this rare Malt Beverage. Thanx Scott!

Courtesy of MCLK. Pours hazy pink grapefruit with micro thin white head. The aroma is tart berry notes, sweet berries and some sugariness. The taste begins even and refreshing and moves into notes of berry tartness and then blends into acidity. The tartness and acidity stay within reason and allow sweet fruitiness to linger into the finish providing a nice balance to the experience.

Bottle, courtesy MCLK. Cloudy peach appearance, minimal lacing, small head. Big dry tart nose, acidic, some cherries. Flavor has mild tartness, dry grain, wheat and some crackers. Medium-bodied, slightly sticky palate. Pretty good, but not as tart as I wanted.
