Poured a clear copper color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate citrus hops and malt aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration.
I would recommend this to a freind. blipp (1612), Newark, New Jersey, USA Sep 2, 2009 Draft. Labeled as ’Freshchester Pale Ale". Pours golden amber with an off white head. Citric hop aroma with some toasty sweet malt. The flavor is well balanced, with citric floral hops, a slight earthy note, some toasty malts and a light sweetness. Very enjoyable. Pwn3d (1036), Manhattan, New York, USA Aug 30, 2009 Im pretty sure the bottle read Imperial pale ale, but not sure. Bottle from whole foods and during the film Cove. For what you get this is very reasonably priced. This to me is a world class America pale that leans towards the IPA side. Massive amounts of bold hop taste really hits the mouth, bright and easy drinking. This was fantastic. vtafro (452), , New Jersey, USA Aug 21, 2009 Tap @ Rattle ’N’ Hum. Light golden pour. Chewy hoppy, bitter, pine and citrus pale ale. Alright beer wasn’t fair to put this up against Jai Alia IPA. Leighton (234), New York, New York, USA Aug 4, 2009 A really nice pale ale. Poured a rich amber hue with a short but thick head. Nice hoppy and sweet-smelling head. The taste was also quite sweet, much sweeter than any pale ale I’ve ever tried. It was really, really good. Incredibly smooth and delicious.
