growler that I was so glad to get after missing this one last year. color is a dark orange amber with a thin white head. aroma has fresh pumpkin, light spices, dark sugar, and a bit of nuts. mouth feel is medium and the carbonation on the low side. flavor has a nice authentic pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, sweetness, and some back ground hops. I like the fact the pumpkin takes a front over the spiced side and the vanilla bean version took this to a whole new level.

From a growler given to me by a co-worker who recently visited his hometown in NY. Pours an attractive, clear deep amber with a manilla head. Pleasant medium-intensity aroma of nutmeg and a little cinnamon. Very drinkable but with a full/bold flavor. Nice toasty caramel malt base with just the right level of sweetness. Next are notes of pumpkin pie; cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice and a tinge of vanilla. Has a small presence of herbal noble hops for balance. Medium bodied with a smooth texture and moderate carbonation. Remarkably drinkable. It’s nothing you haven’t had before but it’s so well-done and tasty.

Growler filled at the brewery and consumed the next day. Pours a clear orange amber with a moderate linen white head that faded by the second sip and left scant lace. Pleasant aroma of malt, pumpkin, cinnamon and allspice. The flavor is malt, pumpkin, cinnamon and allspice and noticeably absent of any brown sugar. This is not a sweet beer, and is fact, more on the dry side. Mild-moderate bitterness at the finish. Very easy to drink. Well crafted.

Tap at Blind Tiger. Some minor pumpkin spices in the aroma, very clean, full and rich. Nice body, easy drinking, with mellow carbonation. Lacks oomph, but a very solid beer none-the-less. The be fair, I swilled a good half of this as a distraction from the paranoid ranting of a certain beer/community organizer towards yours truly. It served me well.

Draft @ Blind Tiger. Golden-amber color with a light head. Aroma is solid pumpkin with a spicyness to it that is quite attractive. Flavor is a nice mix of pumpkin and spice with sweet malts and light hops. Overall a pretty good pumpkin brew.
