Much more malt in the smell than smoke and taste as well. Nice roasty flavor along with chocolatey malt that really compliment the subtle smokiness. Much better as it warms. Aroma has a bit of smoke with a nice malty undertone. Flavor is smoky malt with an underpinning of anise and light roast coffee. Medium palate, not too much carbonation. Excellent porter, highly recommended. BREWMUSKCLES (1089), New Jersey, USA

Black body with a quick foamy off-white head. Flavour has wine characteristics, fruity roasted skins also sweet and toasted throughout. Full body. Quite nice, a little sweet.
