The aroma was light coffee with some smoke hints. There was also some apple. The taste was sweet with some caramel and light tobacco notes. There is also some milk chocolate. Nice, but slighlty boring. joebudzjoe (232), Connecticut, USA

Aroma is nice and roasty with chocolate, a little earth, and a light smoke. It blends together very well. Nice flavors of roasted malts and chocolate up front with a light sweet dark fruit and a smoke essence that comes in the end. Smooth with medium carbonation. Nice on the palate. Light lingering smoke and chocolate roast. This was a good one. Light smoke blended well with the dark malts to create a very enjoyable brew. dchmela (1458), Orlando, Florida, USA

Smoky, chocolate malt aroma that is very well balanced and not overpowering. Malty thick taste, lots of chocolate, licorice, coffee, and smoked malt. Finishes with a chocolate smoke aftertaste. Really a nice beer that makes me want more. Rciesla (3880), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA
