Pours a hazy, slightly dim yellow with fluffy white head. Aroma of banana, lemon, and wheat. Starts out with a good balance of banana, clove, and a bit of hops, but then... what’s this? Very odd finish. On first sip, I couldn’t tell if it tasted of sour fruit, metal, or sunblock. I settled on metal, and it lingers a surprising amount. Overcasts everything good about the beer. Perhaps I got a tainted cup. I’d be willing to try again.

On tap at a restaurant on the Hudson River that I can’t remember. Pours with 3 fingers of head. The color is a golden, creamy orange/gold. Lots of carbonation. Taste is of orange and lemon. I was surprised how creamy this beer was. It actually seemed more like a Hefe than a Wit. Either way it was smooth and extremely drinkable with a great taste. Excellent beer... if only Captain Lawrence would distribute in PA!

On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy glowing golden yellow with a thin white head. Aromas of clove, bananas, and coriander. Medium thick body. Spicy with a bit of medicinal mint quality and some light bubblegum.

On tap at brewery. Pale opaque orange with lasting head and lace. Very strong coriander aroma with some orange peel. Strong spicy taste with some citrus and wheat tang. Lingering spicy mouthcoating. Refreshing light body and nice soft mouthfeel. Pretty good. A little heavy on the coriander.

On draught at Rattle N Hum (NYC): A soapy finish was all I could taste amongst an ultimately watery feel. Not a fan. #007 on 14062009, DG.

Growler courtesy Maltajo. Pours a light yellow with a thick frothy head. Lemon and coriander, malt aroma. Taste is light crisp malt with touches of spices, lemon, yeats. A nice light refreshing brew and was great to drink while in the pool on a hot day.

[Draft @ Barcade] Poured a murky golden color with a small, white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus fruits, toasted malt, vanilla, ginger, coriander, ahd ginger. Taste of strong ginger, citrus fruits, coriander, orange peel, citrus fruits, and vanilla, with a dry, yeasty finish.

On tap at The Ginger Man. Wheat aroma. Pale yellow cidery colour with some lace. Nicely drinkable, a bit astringent but also well malted finish. Refreshing. Mineral water carbonation, average or above mouthfeel.
