italarican (157), Astoria, New York, USA Jul 19, 2009 Pours a hazy, slightly dim yellow with fluffy white head. Aroma of banana, lemon, and wheat. Starts out with a good balance of banana, clove, and a bit of hops, but then... what’s this? Very odd finish. On first sip, I couldn’t tell if it tasted of sour fruit, metal, or sunblock. I settled on metal, and it lingers a surprising amount. Overcasts everything good about the beer. Perhaps I got a tainted cup. I’d be willing to try again. dagimp (104), Philly, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 9, 2009 On tap at a restaurant on the Hudson River that I can’t remember. Pours with 3 fingers of head. The color is a golden, creamy orange/gold. Lots of carbonation. Taste is of orange and lemon. I was surprised how creamy this beer was. It actually seemed more like a Hefe than a Wit. Either way it was smooth and extremely drinkable with a great taste. Excellent beer... if only Captain Lawrence would distribute in PA! j12601 (1149), Poughkeepsie, New York, USA Jun 21, 2009 On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy glowing golden yellow with a thin white head. Aromas of clove, bananas, and coriander. Medium thick body. DeadGirl (192), West Palm Beach, Florida, USA Jun 14, 2009 Updated: Oct 18, 2009On draught at Rattle N Hum (NYC): A soapy finish was all I could taste amongst an ultimately watery feel. Not a fan. #007 on 14062009, DG. dchmela (1406), Orlando, Florida, USA Jun 6, 2009 Growler courtesy Maltajo. Pours a light yellow with a thick frothy head. Lemon and coriander, malt aroma.
