On tap at a restaurant on the Hudson River that I can’t remember. Pours with 3 fingers of head. The color is a golden, creamy orange/gold. Lots of carbonation. Taste is of orange and lemon. I was surprised how creamy this beer was. It actually seemed more like a Hefe than a Wit. Either way it was smooth and extremely drinkable with a great taste. Excellent beer... if only Captain Lawrence would distribute in PA!

On tap at BTAH. Hazy yellow in color with a nice white head. Coriander malty fruity aroma. Lemony notes. Malty grainy flavor. Spicey coriander notes. Sweet tasting. Dry. Finish is hoppy and dry. Decent beer.

Growler from the brewery. Hazy yellow in color with a big off white head. Aroma is a good start with musty yeast, wheat, and light notes of spices and fruit. Taste follows aroma with some crackery wheat, coriander and orange, and musty yeast. Second batch much more pleasant than the first.

Tap at Blind Tiger: Pours a very nice cloudy yellow with a substantial and consistent white frothy head. Nice aroma full of coriander and soft lemon citruses. The flavor is good as well, yet it’s not as refreshing as I would want my Witbiers to be. Pretty dry, and has evident graininess. Pretty hoppy for a Witbier also, with less citrus depth than expected. Still a very solid and creamy example of the style. Well done.

Draft at the Blind Tiger. Pale yellow pour with a gold hue and a little bit of white head. Aroma is banana, spices, and sweet light belgian malt. Flavor is the same, fruity, with belgian spicing and sweet malt. Dry finish.

Tap at Blind Tiger. Very pale straw colour with a surprisingly bright appearance. The aroma is nice and bright with fresh lemony citurs, wheat and a crisp spiciness. Yeast shows light spiciness, with notes of coriander and clove. The coriander imparts a bright lemon citrus and they have managed to get rid of the vegetal character that was here last year. Spicy/herbal hops on the back give this a crisp refreshing bitterness. Much improved and a very tasty summer brew.

on tap-pours a white head that laces and hazy yellow color. Aroma is hops-lemon, wheat, faint coriander. Taste is hops-lemon, wheat, coriander, orange peel, just a bit much on the coriander. OK effervescence.
