I tasted this beer at the North American Organic Brewers Festival in June. Interesting spice taste. A little peppery. Has hop presence but not bitter at all. Either the yeast or water is different from other beers.

Kind of a woody body without any direction or specific flavor. It is bitter, but the hop profile is very blah.

Tap from Organic Brewers Fest... Poured amber with a white, ring of a head. Light palate. Toasty, sweet malts and a mild hop balance. Very drinkable.

On tap at the Horse Brass. I don’t know if this beer was infected or what, but it was a complete and utter mess. Flat and lifeless and featuring a disgustingly heavy mouthfeel. If there were hops in there I wasn’t really finding them.

Tap @ The Tin Shed. Pours orange with a tan ring. Nose is muted and hoppy. Taste is nice, rich citrus, and light bitterness. Pretty decent IPA.

Draught at Horse Brass Poured medium orange. Citrusy hoppy aroma, but not full like an IPA (I don’t know if this is due to a hop shortage, or the brewer’s formula) Medium body, but I wouldn’t call this as bitter as an IPA. Longlasting bitter finish. It’s hard to categorize this beer.

Draught. Poured pale orange with a thick white head. Citrusy aroma. Less hop bitterness than you’ld expect, as hoppy as an IPA. Lingering bitter finish.

the visual murkiness reminded me of Blue Dot, but the flatnes did not. still plenty ofhops swimming aorund in here, and an alleged high alchol content vibrating slightly behind the citrus bitter onslaught, a wisp of caramel as well
