Commercial Description:
Black beer, strong and nutritive, with a high body flavor. It has a toasted malt aroma, accentuated bitterness content and medium alcoholic content. Because it is not filtered, it contains yeast and, therefore, it is a great food complement. Ingredients - potable treated water, toasted malted barley, non-malted cereals, carbohydrates, hops, caramel dye

This looked like swill at first. But it was pretty darn good. I said DARN. Well damnit here we go. A brownish black appearance with a beige head. Some bitter notes and chocolate is present. It had a wheat presence as well. Or so my notes say.

Bottled. Jet black beer with brown head. Aroma is coffee and roasted malts. Flavor is quite sweet, with roasted taste of coffee and dark chocolate. An unidentified and unpleasant element in the flavor makes a 6 instead of a 7. Medium to full body. (051104)

Can - October 2005 Pours black with a tan head. The head is average for a stout, but really good compared to most macro brewers products, especially south american ones and it lasts much more than the usual soda head of most macro lagers. Aroma is sweet, with that kind of "fruitiness" that characterises stouts. Taste is sweet, caramelly, begins balanced but drops too much to the sweet side at the end (a bit artificial from my point of view), with a lingering sweetness at the aftertaste. This beer could be really nice and much more balanced with 15 IBUS more in its recipe from my point of view, but it was enjoyable, especially considering it is brewed by inbev.

Very good strong bock. Very dark with browned head. Toasted cofee and a little bit of chocolate, sweet. Last time i tried to mix it up with another beer (Devassa Tropical Lager) and.... SUPRISE!!!! it got even better!!!!!!! if you have the oportunity, try it. Bottle of Caracu anf a bottle of Devassa Tropical Lager in a 1L glass. This misture was of the best "beer" i ever tried!!!!

It is a good beer to drink like a dessert. It´s too sweet because of the huge quantity of caramel. A tip (local recipe): drink Caracu with a raw egg.

Beer 6 Brazil trip, the initial fruits of my journey (forced march) to the elusive hypermarket. Can, but hey, it wasn’t a fizzy yellow lager, so I was pretty excited. Nice bitter coffee aroma, very black, little head. Even looked like strong coffee. Flavor was of sweetened coffee. Surpriingly sweet. Too bad, as this could have actually been good otherwise.

This is a sort of guinnes draught clone. Pours out opaque black with a nice dark tna head. The aroma is non-descript but reveals a hint of coffee. Flavour is fairly good with some roasted coffee and chocolate flavour. Great creamy guinness like mouthfeel. It’s greta when people know you have a beer collection cause they bring you things like this.
