| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Mar 17, 2004 Bottled. Intransparently black with rich beige head. Roasty coffee with cream and too much sugar. Chocolatey, soft and rich, but very one-dimensional. MrDick (281), San Francisco, California, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jan 5, 2004 Probably the best mass marketed Brazilian beer that I have tasted. It is similar to Xhingu in that it is a black lager but it has much more taste than Xhingu. Sweet caramel with a lot of roasted malt. I can't drink more than 2 of these though as the persistent bubblegum flavor really starts to get annoying. brewboy (152), Australia

This could be the top Aussie brew Toohey's Old's cousin with its burnt malty taste and aroma. A little gassy but a treat all the same. PorterPounder (3148), Tallahassee, Florida, USA
