12 oz. bottle. Pours a crystal clear gold with a soapy white head that disappeared at the first sip. Smells exactly like ginger ale. The flavor is again very reminiscent of ginger ale only sweeter. Very carbonated, again more like soda, and light on the palate. Some warmth from the ginger well after the swallow. I admit that I enjoyed this one, after stepping away from the fact that this is not so much a serious beer as it is more a thirst quencher and summer drink.

Sep 22, 2008 This is a very refreshing, and very spicy, tasty hot summer drink. I am a huge fan of regular non-alcoholic ginger beers, such as Reeds and Cock and Bull, so this was obiously a must try. It tasted exactly as I had expected- just like a hot, spicy, herbal Reed’s, with no apparent hint of alcohol. Yet when the drink was finished I felt a gentle warmness in my face that proved that this did, indeed have alcohol in it. Overall, this is very delicious, but does not have any characteristics of an actual beer, so I cannot give it a very high rating. But.... if this site were called RateGingerBeer.com you’d better believe that this would be a perfect 5.

Jun 18, 2008 Columbia, SC - Total Wines - 12 oz bottle. Spritzy ginger ale-like light golden pour with no head and lots of tiny bubbles. Heavy ginger in the aroma with hints of Listerine. Interesting flavor with the expected ginger but blended in somewhat nicely. Afraid it would be an alco-pop but it actually has some lager qualities. Mouthfeel is a bit too spritzy for my taste.

Jun 15, 2008 Another solid follow up to the flagship beer. This beer should go by the expression ginger snap lager, maybe at leas the vegan community would vouch for its authenticity. Seriously this is bad.

does not count  Apr 18, 2008 I’ll start off by clarifying that Shandy whether Ginger or Sorrel is not "beer". While it is technically a malt beverage it is certainly not designed to resemble anything like what we would call beer. Furthermore the alchol content is more like "near" beer. With that in mind, I find it to be a very refreshing beverage that goes quite well with spicy Trinidadian dishes. So, sit down with a nice goat roti and a Shandi and you’ve got yourself a great combination!
