Surprisingly good beer. Had little aroma to it, but was big on flavor. Poured an amber color with little head and a heavy malt flavor.

Originally reviewed back on 1/11/03. Received 3.15 score. Added to my RB list to check "Denmark" as a beer country consumed. Basic macro-esque feel with the added bonus of amber coloring. Inocouous, and nothing earth-shattering.

A nice mahogany-red beer with a moderate, golden head. The aroma is malty just like the flavour, that has a nice bitterness. Considering that this is a mainstream christmas beer, it actually is quite OK.

(Bottle 33 cl.) Dark amber, very little head. Slightly malty aroma, very sweet and clean with thin metallic finish. Boring factory beer.

Bottle. Weak, slightly metallic aroma. Warm, clear copper colour. The flavour is quite hoppy, a little aromatic. Quite bitter, sharply so. Good mouthfeel.

Bottled. Clear amber coloured with a rather small whiite head. Malty, bready, grainy with notes of caramel and maybe a hint of berries. Somewhat alcoholic.

Bottle. Clear golden brown with mostly diminishing off-white head. Nice malty nose with a little caramel and some hops. Slightly sweet malt and some dried fruits in the flavor. A little bit oily on the palate. Average primarily bitter finish. Well amde vienna, but slightly alcoholic though.

Presario got this in a trade with Paspoe and was nice enough to share it with me. Not a great example of a Vienna and a little thin. Thanks to both P-s. Page 104 of Micheal Jackson’s Great Beer Guide and only 438 out of his 500 Classic Brews to go.
