Redbrown wigh light brown head, mostly diminishing, no lacings. Aroma moderate malty (roasted, brown sugar, brown fruits) and hoppy. Flavor moderate sweet and bitter, long duration. Medium body, oily, lively carbonated, the alcohol is felt. turbothy (722), Bonn, Germany

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 9, 2005 (Bottle 33 cl) Originally a Jubilee beer to celebrate 125 years of Carlsberg in 1972, but later turned into one of the first Danish Christmas beers. Dark amber colour with an off-white collapsing head. Lovely malty, lightly sweet nose. Malty, slightly burned caramel-flavours with a pronounced bitter finish. Still one of the best Danish Christmas beers from the big players on the market. Unfortunately the alcohol was tuned down some years ago. 081299
