Englander1986 (51), Middlesbrough, England Nov 11, 2006 A decent drink in the end, although I was scepticle as trying this since I dislike original Carlsberg, I was moderately suprised at its difference. KnutAlbert (3108), Oslo, Norway Jun 12, 2006 Malty sweet, not very balanced. Brown ale? More like a sticky Central European dunkel, if you ask me. onystrom (741), Århus-Randers Crew, Denmark Jan 3, 2006 Dark amber-brown mostly clear color - small head. Coffey -sour taste - too carbonated - weird taste? Hildigöltur (5109), København, Denmark Jun 28, 2004 Light brown coloured. Malty aroma. Sweet and malty flavour. The finish is weak. Thin and boring. Ungstrup (14754), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 26, 2004 A brown beer with a small disappearing head. The aroma is lovely caramelic. The flavor is lovely; with notes of caramel, roasted bread, a nice dry barley finish, and with a good body. A very nice Brown Ale. rauchbier (2993), Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, England Jun 20, 2004 Tap, DBF 2004. Amber brown, thin shortlived white head and gentle condition. Faint caramel and grain in the nose, sweet toffee and some grssy hops in the mouth and a finish that just seems thin and bitter. Not my idea of a brown ale.
fiulijn (7150), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy May 23, 2004 Keg Amber color. Aroma of caramel, alcohol, wax. Strange brew, with some sweetness, caramel, hops. Drinkable, and nothing else. jfm (1694), Holbæk, Denmark May 18, 2004 Brown color with a white head. The taste is wellbalanced maltyness with a light sweet nutty note. Its very balanced and smooth. Not bad.
