Commercial Description:

Typical mainstream brown ale advertised as just an ale. Nutty and sleightly sweet with a bitter somehow harsh finish. Ok everyday beer

(Bottle 33 cl.) Fine deep amber colour with a nice longlasting off-white head. Malty aroma and taste, with a little hint of hops and toffee. Fruity finish with some bitterness. A little bit better than the rest from Valby!

My favourite mainstream ale! One cannot ignore that Carlsberg HAS heightened their ambitions, and efforts like this one will definitely help improve the general beer climate as some beer ’beginners’ may be more open to this than to a snobbish micro thing.

Bottle from MiP. Amber color. Somewhat vinous aroma and flavor with caramel, milk chocolate and candy fruit. Plums. Sweetish malty flavor, somewhat thin, with caramel and chocolate. A nice and quite tasty beer.

Bottle. Reddish brown with mostly lasting off-white head. Friuty maltiness in the aroma. More malt and fruits in the slightly sweet flavor. A little short in the rather watery finish.

Bottle. Clear medium amber color with a average fair lacing off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, fruity, sweet. Flavor is light to moderate sweet and bitter with a short duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbunation is lively.
