Head was average with a frothy appearance. Lacing was good, and head longevity was mostly lasting. Body appearance was clear and normal with density being thin like. Aroma was very nutty, bread (rye bread), light toasted with some candies and caramel notes to it. In mouth some mild wood notes and dry fruits come into play as well. Flavour is medium sweet. Medium bodied with a sweet finish. Palate were texture was light syrupy like and carbonation was lively. Quit good for a Carlsberg…he he JensenTaster (1585), Denmark

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Nov 19, 2006 Bottle. Aroma of fruit and dishwashing. Reddish brown with a fair head and some lacing. | 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Nov 17, 2006 Pours a dark amber with a lasting head. Aroma makes you wonder if it’s an ale as does the taste. The fruitieness is very subdued and the hop flavour and aroma is odd and a bit hard to detect. It’s overcarbonated and leaves the impression that the brewers at Carlsberg somewhere in the brewing process forgot what they were doing (ie. brewing an ale) and went back to their old habit of brewing weak and boring lagers...
