Commercial Description:

Draught in Copenhagen. Surprisingly good. Nice and strong throughout, tastes pretty wheaty, not very bitter but works well.

Tap. Dark amber with slight haze. Aroma of cranberries and coriander. Dry mouthfeel with initial high carbonation. Taste begins sweet then gains caramel flavour as well as the cranberries and slight bitterness.

Light fruity and caramellish aroma. The taste is with a lot of caramel, and some hits of different berries, and also a little tobacco. Very fresh and interesting ale. Not as flat and boring as much english ales. The aftertaste is sweet by the malts and with obvious caramel and some tobacco, but the hops are obvious too. Creamy body, but a little thin. A nice Carlsberg in the same league as their porter, and Carlsberg 47. I have also tried this on tap, but it was actually much better on bottle. Some of the caramellish notes dissapears on tap, and it becomes just flat beer with a little berries-taste. Buy this one bottled!

Canned. Offwhite head, reddish brown beer with a fruity aroma. Fruity flavour, too, sweet apples, toffee. Crisp cider-like finish. Not bad coming from you know who - I’d prefer this to most of the Carlsberg offerings.

(Bottle 33 cl.) Fine deep amber colour with a nice longlasting off-white head. Malty aroma and taste, with a little hint of hops and toffee. Fruity finish with some bitterness. A little bit better than the rest from Valby!

Bottle from MiP. Amber color. Somewhat vinous aroma and flavor with caramel, milk chocolate and candy fruit. Plums. Sweetish malty flavor, somewhat thin, with caramel and chocolate. A nice and quite tasty beer.
