[Sampled at CMO, general 2006/07.] Had expected more from this winner, but it was really uninteresting. Sour sweetness with sticky metalnotes and the brown sugar was awful.

Clear brow appearence with almost no head. Aroma is sweet and fruity, like figs. The flavor is very sweet aswell, but with a really bitter finish.

Bottle. Claer amber with a little light brown head. Malt and hops in the aroma. Slightly sweet malt along with some dried fruits in the flavor. Pretty short finish with a little metallic bitterness. A bit watery on the palate.

Bottle. Clear brown colour with a fair lasting medium head. Aroma of toasted malts and hops. Flavour is little bitter, toasty malty and sweet. Bit thin actually.

[draft] dark brown with no head (might be the unexperinced waitress’ fault...) The aroma is slightly metallic and that goes for the taste as well. There are hints of roasted malt and caramelt and chemical sort of hoppiness. The mouthfeel is ok, but overall it’s boring and has a really horrible off-taste, how slight it may be...

Beautiful, dark colour and halfway sweet taste. It smells fabulous, but cant quite make it there in taste. A popular beer for inviting your (beer-) friends over.
