I certainly got the sourness/stringent bitterness to this beer. Not the most pleasant. Well I suppose I only paid £1.50 for four-pack in Asda. Will drink it, but not very good at all. Enough said Rerated as I got to like it at room tempereture.

I bought this one on can named "Carlsberg Christmas Beer". Totally horrible, watery. Not a scandinavian Jul beer at all. It was like a Miller.

33 cL bottle. Pours dark brown with a lacing off-white head. Sweet malty and slight spiced aroma. Medium bodied. Caramel malty flavour, slight sweet and with a minor spice note. Slight bitter finish with a good portion of caramel malt accompanying.

Bottle. A leftover Christmas seasonal bought in a Copenhagen store in july. Beer name is spelt ’Crals Jul’ on the label (no I’m not that drunk!) Anyway, the beer pours clear reddish brown with a very thin vanishing beige head. Sweet malty and nutty aroma with whiffs of plums and skunky hops. Malty sweet flavor. Low hop level. Watery mouthfeel. Short, slight sour-bitter end. Mediocre.

I was expecting worse, especially from a beer that smelt like carpet. Sweet and soft, really inoffensive, sugary flavour with a hit of alcohol.
