| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 26, 2006 Malty aroma with som caramel. The hops seem to be floural and maybe its just cause it says christmas on the can but a tiny hint of spice. Taste is a bit better light sweet with more of a roasted malt character than excpeted, cant really find too much hop character, but there is some in there. Not a bad effort from them.

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 26, 2006 It is a dark copper-brown beer, with a head that doesn’t last for a long time. The aroma is hopped pilsnery, and with a little caramel. But it is also a little metallic. The flavor is more hopped and malty than the usual macro brewed danish premium lagers, and christmas brews, but still nothing special .The body is average. Drinkable; not bad - not anything special. I’d rather buy a Harboe Julebryg and get two beers for the same price as one Carls Jul. Habanero (632), Tranbjerg, Denmark

Flavour of light malt and bitter hops. Watery texture. Light to medium bodied. All right bitter finish. Very pilsner like, not mutch x-mas in this one.. | 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 26, 2006 Can. A slightly stronger than average lager with a moderate amount of a dark malt - possibly crystal - which gives a little more flavour than normal. Fairly attractive for a lager. A little bit stronger and this might fall under the new Dunkel Bock style category. jehoey (766), Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, USA
