Commercial Description:
Carls Lager has a clear red-golden colour, and is brewed with münchenermalt by bayerish tradition since 1847. Münchenermalt is roasted by higher temperature, which gives it a darker colour than regular malt. Carls Lager’s aroma indicates fine fruity and caramellish notes. In the mouth it is characterized by having a good body and low carbonation, which underlines the soft impression of the taste.

Nice color, very good taste. Pretty bitter, but in a very gently and 'withdrawing' way, that makes this beer one of my favourites from the danish standard selection. Has an interesting history too. Easy to drink, but is not boring.

The taste is not particular bitter, and I think everybody can drink it and enjoy it. The colour is reddish/ brown, so I would call it a "relaxed" beer. One of the better beers from Carlsberg.

Deep amber/chestnut color with a fast disappearing beige head. The taste is malty with a nice hoppy balance. Finishes slightly bitter.

Pretty good for a Carlsberg... Tall foamy head on a clear amber body. Dark malt aroma with brown sugar notes. Malt, hops and caramel in the flavor. Not very full-bodied but quite nice and easy drinkable!

Mild lager with bittersweet caramel/toffee like taste to it. Easily drinkable by everybody

Pleasant toasted malt nose, slightly citrusy. Ruddy amber color and spongy head. Subdued malt body, grainy. Quick profile and medium body. A respectable beer by all means.

Not bad- Malt, kind of a band aid and milkchocolate nose. Brown amber color, with a little frothy head. Lively carbonation. Tastes like cereal, malt and rye. Short bitter kick, when smooth floating.
