Black, brief frothy head. Sweet raisiny aroma. Some chocolate in that too. Pleasant carbonation, softish palate. Nice chocolate and coffee burntness. Also plenty of fruity esters in the mouth. Tingly hops keep building up and fight with the sweet burntness for dominance of the finish. Very dry. Tasty beer. Jonte (831), Gothenburg, Sweden

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 26, 2008 great aroma, but a little faint. looks very nice, dark brown, light-brown head. Mild flavor, very well balanced, however most flavours quickly ends with leaves a strong trail of roasted stuff. Overall a decent porter, more so when you consider its low price.
