Fin (2357), Merton, Oxfordshire, England Sep 28, 2008 Had this sat outside Frank (camper) in Radjberg Mile campsite19-09-08 Pours some burnt roasty malts are noticeable but its actually quite smooth. Enjoyable stout but dry though there is some sweetness kicking about. FatPhil (2362), Espoo, Finland Sep 21, 2008 330ml bottle.<br />
Black, brief frothy head. Sweet raisiny aroma. Some chocolate in that too. Pleasant carbonation, softish palate. Nice chocolate and coffee burntness. Also plenty of fruity esters in the mouth. Tingly hops keep building up and fight with the sweet burntness for dominance of the finish. Very dry. Tasty beer. Jonte (402), Gothenburg, Sweden Sep 13, 2008 Updated: Sep 14, 2008Bottle at Haket, Gothenburg. Black color with a beige head. Aroma: A bit on the light side, roasted, coffee, smoke, licorice and some sourish notes. Flavor: Rosted malt, licorice, coffee, saltiness, sourishness, and some hops. Medium bodied. Pinball (595), Allerød, Denmark Aug 26, 2008 great aroma, but a little faint. looks very nice, dark brown, light-brown head. Mild flavor, very well balanced, however most flavours quickly ends with leaves a strong trail of roasted stuff. Overall a decent porter, more so when you consider its low price. Mogwai (189), Askeby, Denmark Aug 22, 2008 Bottle. Pours a dark brown colour with beige short-lasting head. Aroma is coffee, chocolate, burnt malt. Mouthfeel is very good and a little thick. Flavor is just like aroma of coffee, syrup, caramel, chocolate, malt and hops. Very good
