May 10, 2002 This being a an Imperial Stout it is pleasantly mild, fruity and slightly sweet with a full body. Some liquerice aroma and taste. One of the best Danish beers and we do not have many of those.

Oct 14, 2003 One of Denmarks best beers, Only Wiibroo beats this one, but I think Carlsberg closed it down, maybe it was to competative. Black with a brownish head, full of roasted barley in the palate, and a sweet finish.

Sep 5, 2003 Color: black. Rich, brown head. Black currant aroma. Full-bodied, sweet and warming. Long bitter finish. Nice one.

Aug 21, 2003 Black/dark red. Medium tan head. Roasy,black currant,vanilla,sweet(malt),aroma. Well carbonated.Silky texture,big body. Black malt,dark fruit,roasty onslaught. Full forced flavors Finish is lightly sweet,bready,roasty,and bitter enough to tie it together perfectly. Get's thicker towards room temp.Unique and well crafted.
