Amber colour, medium head. Light blackberry aroma with a hint of smoke. Dry, malty, toasty flavour. This beer was a pleasant surprise.

Amber color, small head. Little bit more malty and hoppy than the classic. Not too bad, and maybe just a little special.

Carls Special is in my opinion on of the most tasty beers from Carlsberg. A little darker than Carlsberg Lager, but much more tastier

Not very much to write about, a common beer with little of everything. The colour is darker than an ordinary pilsner, and the taste is a little bit different.

Upon a visit to the Carlsberg brewery last year in Copenhagen I had the chance of trying this very tasty dark beer. I recommend it to people who like something a little dark without having to drink something as thick as a Guiness.

Better than an ordinary Hof, but not that good. A little sweetnes of malt and a bit of hops. Nothing special, but ok.

[Keg] Dark amber color. In the nose, malt and salame. A lot of caramel; still a bit too metallic. Pretty strong bitterness in the final.

Carlsberg has made a good beer after many years with disappointing massproduced beers. It isn’t expensive either so check it out.
